We did the group formation. Come out with the group leader within the 5.

First meeting. Discussion on Target Audience and the content of web site which will is our individual assignment. And each members responsibilities on which sub topic. All members require searching for relevant sub topic information and sending to group leader.

2 July, 2011 - Discussion on the web site design or the design theme.

3 July, 2011 - Research on the information or relevant topic. Develop a initial proposal which will present to Dr.Kent Neo.

4 July, 2011 - Sent twice proposal and presenting again the Initial Proposal to Dr.Kent Neo.

28 July, 2011 - We having 3rd meeting on online for discussion on the web site layout. Going more further details about the layout and contents and arrange the part to each member.

15 Aug, 2011 - Discussion in class with Dr.Kent Neo, we did wrong and need to rearrange our part and redo the blog.

we have done the discussion about use software Adobe Dreamviewer to finish our website. We met the problem when we need to link up everything and get the page more consistent in every page.

flash design
we are planning add some flash design in our blog front interface, the flash have done half way. it is including the sound, picture, and some flash moving.

design idea
our theme of flash is like treasure hunt. our user can feel that is the mystery of Selangor , Subangjaya. the flash will have the attraction effect to let our user feel need to know more about the Subangjaya.
we are planning to do something interaction with user. they will not only watch the flash and waiting it finish, we set up some click to let them feel a sense of participation.

result of 2nd meeting - group members have suggest and gather all the interesting place of the Selangor. after voting decision, we choose Subangjaya as the point of area we mainly focus to promote it.

Discusion :

Introduction

Our group Profile

271 is a group which established by Multimedia University students of Faculty of Management. All of us stay in Malaysia such as long time, more than half person of our group is Malaysian, and we love our country and know she’s beauty. We collect the information of she’s beauty to intro she face to the world.

The reason we choose the state Selangor from 14 state of Malaysia. It is because Selangor is completely surrounds the federal territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, both of which were once under Selangor's sovereignty. We believe that there are many great stories to promote our tourism of Malaysia.

Selangor is also the richest state in Malaysia in terms of gross domestic product (GDP) per capita. This state is also the most developed in Malaysia with good infrastructure such as highways and transport. The state also has the largest population in Malaysia, with a high standard of living and the state's poverty rate is the lowest in the country.

Objective

“Marketing Malaysia as a destination of excellence and to make the tourism industry a major contributor to the socio-economic development of the nation”

Our objective is to promote Malaysia as an outstanding tourist destination through the Website.

Demographics of the end-user/target audience profile.

After our discussion, we decided our target audience/end users are in 18-60 age groups. The supporting material is as bellow:

Video downloads; online travel reservations and work-related research are now pursued more equally by young and old
A few online activities previously dominated by either older generations or younger generations are now being done more equally across all generations under 73 years old. One such activity is downloading videos, an activity that in 2005 was significantly more popular with teens and Generation Y than with any other generation. Generation X is catching up, as 31% of that generation claim to download videos as of 2007, compared with 38% of Generation Y. Generations on the oldest end of the spectrum also became significantly more likely than they had been two years before to download videos. Some 13% of G.I. Generation internet users (age 73+) reported downloading videos, up from 1% in 2005, and another 13% of the online Silent Generation (ages 64-72) say they download videos, up from 8% in 2005.
Perhaps less surprisingly, Generation Y is also gaining significant ground in some activities previously dominated by Generation X and older. In addition to becoming more likely to do banking online, Generation Y has also grown more likely to make travel reservations online. In 2005, half (50%) of Generation Y internet users had booked travel arrangements online and in 2008 that number rose to 65%. During the same period, the percentages of Generation X and older generations to make online travel reservations remained about the same.
The workplace online network is expanding to include more Generation Y users.5 Internet users 18-32 are going online more than ever to do research for their jobs. In 2007, 51% said they used the internet for their jobs other than for email, compared with 44% of the same group in 2005.

We will prepare a section which can let the traveler or user to chit chat on our website to discuss about the Selangor and leave comment at there. If the user has any question, the webmaster also can replay and solve the question immediately through the conversation. This is also aimed to give us feedback from customers for the kind of services they like the most or they are mostly attracted to, and we will use this tool to improve our services

News
We will provide the latest news about the Malaysia or Selangor, to let our users get the hottest news immediately. Beside users also can check the previous news for references.

Multimedia information
Beside the photography to show the beauty of Selangor, we also will prepare the video to let our users watch the Selangor more reality. The users also can share the picture or video to facebook or twitter.
